Maybe a stupid question, but I still don't fully understand. Why does it cost 99 rubles to buy a .ru domain, and 8 thousand for .com.ng? I'm already silent about .na for 760 thousand...

There is always a demand for "luxury" goods. But goods in real life are elite because of their complexity of production or uniqueness. It's just inflated prices.
