Why are scanned documents displayed well in jpeg, but in pdf the font is broken and compressed?
MFP MF4400, when scanning documents and converting them to pdf format, the font becomes unreadable, hacked up to pain in the eyes. But in jpeg everything is fine and the scans are normal. Canon ToolBox MF scanning software, Windows 7 x32 computer.

Problem solved. Everything turned out to be tritely simple, the reader who was on the computer was weird and displayed the document crookedly. It turned out when they transferred the file to another computer and opened it.
Installed a fresh Foxit Reader and everything was fine.
