Why are processors that came out a year and a half ago considered not immediately relevant?

For example 2xxx Ryzen series. The process has been over for a year and a half, but already all the super reviewers commentators immediately write in the forums that nope, you don’t need to take it anymore, take the 3rd series and so on. It doesn’t seem to drag and so on, but this is a lie, the Ryzen 2700 in the X version is an excellent new processor, but the second generation has come out, but so what? He that from this ancient became?

Because it has been paid, there are simply no objective reasons to believe otherwise.
That's why I despise reviewers and never trust them.
Relevance of processors - from five years.

What do you want to buy new. And so with everything that mankind produces, with the exception of works of art.

Do you have your own opinion? Watched Hardware Unboxing. Or look at the test results, dry. Leave your own conclusions. But objectively, AMD is picking up the pace very well. And the difference between 1700 and 3700 is very significant. But if you are satisfied, conditionally, 1700, then it is relevant for
you
