How do I know if AMD Freesync technology is working?

There is an ultrabook external AMD graphics card with support for FreeSync technology. Tell me, please, how to find out that this technology is functioning in the game, limiting FPS in time with the display refresh rate (in my case, 60 Hz)?
Of the games, there are only Quake Live and Quake Champions so far. In QL FPS 125, and in QC - always stable 60 FPS. I would like to know if FreeSync works in games. In the case of QC, it seems to me that it works, judging by the extremely stable FPS. And in QL, for some reason, all 125 FPS are shown. I know that there is a parameter that sets the frame per minute limit, but does FreeSync work?

No way. Because this technology does not function in the game, it functions in the video card and monitor. Just an example not entirely related to FreeSync: a game may have a frame rate synchronization setting - VSync, which lets the video card know that it needs to limit the frame rate output, synchronizing their output with the monitor's frequency. FPS is not the frame rate, it is, in other words, the frequency of the output of "pictures" by the program (game).
