Why are most cracks defined as viruses?
Hello!
Can you tell me why almost all cracks are considered malicious by antiviruses (the most popular ones), if, according to the authors of these cracks, there is nothing malicious in them? What are these cracks supposed to do on the computer of the downloader, which the author of the crack cannot do on his PC and then distribute software that is already safe from the point of view of the antivirus?

First, they behave exactly like viruses, modifying the contents of the executable file.
Secondly, in a lot of cracks, viruses are actually sewn in, not necessarily by developers, they are often added by releasers or distributors.
Thirdly, many of the cracks (for example, KMS activators) create a resident service on the PC, regular tasks, occupy the port, that is, they behave like a typical backdoor.
Well, and fourthly, according to people with foil caps, "this is all a conspiracy of transnational carparations and anti-virus programs, people were buying programs." We, of course, will not consider this theory.
