Why are Mikrotik routers not certified by FSTEC?

If they had a FSTEC certificate, all state offices, for example, would probably only buy them and them

This is not a flexible market, it is not enough to have certification, you also need to build a sales system in this sector.
This task is very specific and often corruption-intensive.
Well, their price will then be appropriate, because the price is determined by the market.

Because Mikrotik does not plan to pay kickbacks. And because no one needs the equipment there, because the owners of the companies of the "necessary, suitable" equipment are usually relatives / friends / buddies ...
So my answer is money and corruption. Otherwise, no one would bother with the unnecessary nafig FSTEC. For in my opinion it only makes sense for law enforcement agencies or the like. Because there is nothing to hide in other places

Because certification in the Russian Federation is a need to bring in whoever needs it, and not at all a guarantee of a high-quality and impartial audit. They did not bring it - they were left without a piece of paper.

They don't want to open the code.

They do not see themselves in our market.
If you are talking about FSTEC certification, then most likely you are talking about firewalls, but here are the requirements for them. Will Mikrotik agree to draw up and disclose design documentation, obtain certification for each version of the device firmware, and regularly renew certificates? This is a job that requires some investment. In addition, each delivery of a certified device imposes certain requirements for the completeness of the documentation, along with each box sold, you need to prepare a certificate, a form, a manual for it. And you also need to add the integrity check functionality (not the fact that it is implemented on Mikrotik processors).
Apparently they are not interested.
