Why are Google Chrome extensions not working?

I’m learning to type, I installed all sorts of extensions for the browser such as a ruler and other things, I open index.html in the browser, but the extensions don’t work, and if I open some sites everything works fine, but they don’t even click in the index.

Most likely, extensions are "learned" to work only on external links like http://***or https://***, and they do not process paths to the file system. Leave links which specific extensions do not work, it will be easier to figure it out.
