Why are fonts slightly wider in MacOS than in Windows?

And it does not matter in which browser and at what resolution the layout is viewed on a Mac. It's like the letter-spacing is a bit more. Everything is rendered on Windows

It's a different font rendering engine.
Moreover, you don’t (!) need to do anything with this, since users on Macs are used to the look of fonts at home, and doing it wrong (from their point of view) is simply ridiculous. Therefore, all layout designers who test layout on poppies take this into account, and do not try to redo something.

Because it's like that everywhere and it's normal. In chrome on Windows, custom bold fonts are generally soapy and not bold.
