Why are FontAweSome icons not showing up?

Icons are not displayed on the forum site (example of display on the attached file).

Site on wp, standard twentyninteen theme, wpForo plugin is used for the forum.
The problem arose immediately, that is, even before the forum settings.
There are also plugins installed on the site (All In One SEO Pack, Classic Editor, RusToLat) - disabling the plugins did not help.
I also tried to connect fontawesome separately, it did not help either.
Has anyone come across or have any thoughts on what might be involved?

it turned out not to be compatible with the 2019 theme from vp .. for 2017 everything is ok
