Why are characters from charset_table not taken into account?

There is a field in which there is a symbol "*". It should be possible to search for it, this is important.
The config has:

morphology = stem_enru, metaphone
min_word_len = 1
charset_table = 0..9, A..Z->a..z, a..z, U+410..U+42F->U+430..U+44F, U+430..U+44F, U+401->U+0435, U+451->U+0435, U+002A

But when searching for "*", no results are displayed. The field is guaranteed to participate in the search and in the query.
What can be wrong?

Where did you add the star?
And the asterisk is not a system symbol now in the sphinx, maybe it needs to be screened?
