Error starting sphinxsearch. Where?

Installed version sphinx 2.2.10 from deb package.
indexer --all works
searchd I start, I also successfully
start service sphinxsearch start gives an error. And in logs of a sphinx I do not see any errors. Tell me where to dig? where and how to catch the error.

Repeat the command from the init script with your hands, or add minus X in the init script.
Well, look at all the logs, not just nginx.
