Why are box-shadow and bacground-color not overridden in materialize?

I want to override the btn button class, but I can only change the initial color, :hover I can’t change how the shadows were and remained, the same thing with the color, when you hover, the color is set by default. !importan doesn't work, style reset doesn't work, what to do?

Use DevTools, Luke!
Open the console and see why your styles are below the framework styles. We fix it accordingly.
