Why are all letters of the alphabet except xyz transmitted in the ping packet?

Hello! Probably not a very important question, but still I’m wondering (because I didn’t find an answer on the Internet), why is it that in the ping packet (checked under Windows) all letters of the alphabet are transmitted, except for xyz, and why is the alphabet transmitted there?
