Indeed, protopie is not the most optimized software. But the problem may be on your side (your PC) and on the side of the animation settings.

Because protopie is an extremely unoptimized application, sometimes, in order for me to record all the interactive movements, I have to re-record the video 5-6 times.
By the way, I have a 1170 ti video card and a Ryzen 5 2600x processor, which is quite powerful hardware.
And there is no way to fix it.
