New users, when they authorize me, see me grayed out, although I allow authorization. I go to web-ICQ and everything is ok.

For a long time, when I was still using ICQ under Ubuntu, I remember there was a glitch just with the addition of new users and I treated it by deleting it and a new authorization request.

If you are talking about icq, then I usually added new users through the ICQ website, authorized it there, and then re-logged in the client. It’s crooked, of course, but I didn’t add contacts so often.
