Why after installing linux mint cinnamon 16 it is not possible to set the clock normally?

Today I installed a system for myself, and found that the time format is 12-hour, and I did not find how to change it to 24-hour, although there was a setting at 15 mint. At the same time, in the date and time settings window, the format is 24-hour.

Similar problem.
I found a solution, but I need to test it, now I'll try it myself, I'll unsubscribe here.
Ok, so for the 24 hour clock, open up dconf-editor, go to org.cinnamon.desktop.interface and change the entry for "clock format" from "12h" to "24h". To change the date format, go to org.cinnamon.calendar and edit the formatting there
Unfortunately didn't help, defaulted to 24h.
Switched back and forth, reboot, did not help.
That's what helped -
Right-click on the clock, set up and check the box there for User Defined.
