I want to update my computer at work, I roughly estimated the budget of 25k UAH ~= 60k rubles.
I have a case, but I need to buy the rest, I’ll assemble it myself, there are no problems, but I haven’t picked up iron for a long time, I don’t really rummage through the generations of processors and such subtle tricks, so please evaluate what I chose or can advise something similar better, it is advisable to choose on this website, but not required. Why don't you look at AMD? So what, but now you will find a ryzen 1600 thousand for 10 (all in rubles), which will be significantly faster than 7400. Also save.
Accordingly, you will need a different motherboard.
And the money saved can be invested in the purchase of a more or less normal power supply, not a non-name one.

It’s better to compile for AMD, they have special programs and software for work, I have a beech and I just go nuts with its speed of working with code editors and multimedia ....
Although AMD is called hot in the common people, it’s all better and cheaper.
