Who understands electronics, on SATA pins?
I want to upgrade the hard drive, but I came across a set-up, WD muddied some kind of its sff-8784 connector, which naturally does not fit regular sata drives.
Now I'm parsing the inputs / outputs of sff-8784 www.wdc.com/wdproducts/library/SpecSheet/ENG/2579-... And I can't understand pins 4 and 5. GND (drive present) - what is this note in brackets? In addition, when connecting the wire to my mat. The board has only 10 pins. Is it all GND combined into one contact? Then everything converges 3x5v + 1xGND (drive present) + 1xLED + 2xB + 2xA + 1xGND
And with regard to LED, as I understand it, there is no such contact in ordinary SATA?
