SAS, SATA, SSD - what to choose (server)?

3 variants of SAS, SATA, SSD - what, in fact, is the difference, and what will it affect, except for the pocket?

SAS and SATA are interfaces between the drive and the server motherboard. I, perhaps, will refer to the profile answer from "similar questions": What is the SAS show-off?
SSD or HDD - the first is fast, but either expensive or small capacity, the second is a lot of cheap space, but slow.

If you need to store a lot - only SATA (for the server)
