What was it like to switch to Java as a working language. What pitfalls have you encountered?

I am from Python (I still use it for my projects), switched to Java
- Opened the list of vacancies in the city, looked at vacancies for .net / java - Java turned out to be almost 3 times more, and the salary was 20-30% higher. Plus, I love product companies, and there are very few of them under .net, they are most often custom development
- I looked at what stack is used in vacancies
- I went through the stack that I need from books, poked around with a pet project
- I went to work, without any problems
Ps Just keep in mind that when working with Java, you learn not so much the language, but its ecosystems and patterns - and this is 10 years
