Who sells ready-made projects in the Unity3d Asset Store and why?

As a developer on Unity3d, the question has always been interesting - why sell finished projects in the Asset Store? It has always been tempting for me to buy one of these projects and bring it to an excellent state in which you can profit from it, this will really speed up development, but why should the author give his work?

they are not given away for free.

Maybe the author has good developments, but he doesn’t want or doesn’t have time to develop it into a full-fledged game? And then there’s a chance to get some money and give access to his project.
