Who owns the domain after the transfer?
Good afternoon.
For example, I have a domain: toster.md, and I want to transfer it to the provider reg.ru or godaddy (or I like another).
Got the domain transfer code from my registrar and transferred the domain.
For example, the .md zone belongs to the MoldData registrar, they were the first to start registering domains in .md.
Now I want to understand if MoldData really, really wants to be able to close my domain?
Will another registrar where I switched, for example Godaddy, pay for the domain in MoldData and keep some of the money? (that is, is he an intermediary?)
Or does MoldData have nothing to do with my domain anymore?

Registrar relationships are as hierarchical as the domain name system. MoldData delegates the .md top-level domain to GoDaddy, GoDaddy delegates the toster domain name in the .md domain, and at the very top of the pyramid is IANA and controls the relationship of everyone to everyone, down to the end user.
If suddenly MoldData has a legitimate need to close toster.md, they will send a request to GoDaddy and they will not refuse them.
MoldData is a registrar. The hierarchy of domains is somewhat larger than ICANN - registrar - user
People on the toaster do not take into account one more link - the zone registry (TLD (top level domain) registry.
So
ICANN determines the rules for servicing domains. And basically this is com net ogr info auto tech and all other Regional zones like ru md de br and others are free to set their own rules, which they often do.
registry (registry) manages the entire zone of domains. In your case it is register.md. they enter into an agreement with a registrar (registrar) such as MoldData or Goudeddy
Goudeddy can register domains for its resellers, acting as an upstream provider for them.
Registrars can also register for their clients not directly with the registry, but through an upstream provider. Then the chain will be even longer.
For example, enom does not register sg domains on its own, and when you register such a domain with them, then:
You (registrant) - enom (registrar) - 1API (Usptream provider - also registrar) - sg.nic (registry).
Therefore, when it comes to an abstraction domain, forgive me for being direct, but I don't know how and with whom and through whom it was registered.
The same Enom can conclude an agreement with another Upstream. Nothing will change for you, and the domain will already be transferred to the database of another registrar.
If your toaster.md is registered with MoldData, then in order to understand whether you will leave it or not, you need to watch how goudeddy registers them. The same MoldData can be a subsidiary of register.md. In general, on the fingers and on abstract toasters, this is a long time to explain. But I hope you get the idea.
