As far as I know, you work with network hardware, including Mikrotik. Just imagine that you have at least two thousand such Mikrotiks. Try using scripts to automate the collection of statistics from them, centralized backup of configs, accounting for port congestion.
As you make statistics, imagine that you need to find one port out of 10 thousand with a specific description. How can you find it quickly?
Another case for automation. There are several thousand network devices, some of them are in a ring (for example, 10 pieces in one ring, 200 rings, xSTP is used). You accept work from a contractor. You need to determine by the end of the day where the rings are open (there are uplinks), kick the contractor to go close them.
