Who knows how to install mariadb?

We have - Ubuntu 16 and Ubuntu 18 both x32 (i386)
The challenge is to install MariaDB v 10.2... however it stubbornly requires an x64 system. Although a year ago it was also set to the above ... ChTD ????

And exactly a year ago was MariaDB, not MySQL?
Because the docks on the site say that the 32-bit base is only for Windows.
