Who is constantly sharing the Users folder?
On many computers, I have long noticed that the Users folder is open to the public. And regardless of whether or not there is an antivirus on the machine. Who does it? The system itself? If yes, then why?

There are two options for this behavior by default from MS:
1. The computer is attached to the "homegroup"
In this case, the system automatically gives network access to C:\users to the "Everyone" group, including for compatibility with older OS. Access restrictions in the C:\users folder in this case are implemented by NTFS rights (thus, it is quite safe)
2. The user tries to share a file or folder from his profile (for example c:\users\%USERNAME%\Desktop\%SharedFOLDERNAME%)
In this case, the system also shares the Users folder (rather than creating the target folder)

It is possible that the system will re-create the users folder from time to time. even if you have disabled network access to this resource.
As a solution - turn off the checkbox "Use Sharing Wizard" in the folder options (control panel)
whatever the virus is sitting, the folders themselves do not open themselves to the public
