Who has worked with Linux Kernel Coding Style?
The document Linux Kernel Coding Style says about code indentation:
Tabs are 8 characters, and thus indentations are also 8 characters.
The question is - is the tab size 8 characters? Or tabulation is replaced by 8 spaces?

Yes. And tabs are not replaced by spaces.
