Who had experience in developing a KPI environment, what interesting advice do you have?
The task is to develop KPI for a manufacturing company. Divide employees into groups, see who should do what and how they cope.
I want to hear the opinion of people who did such things - how interesting it is to implement the system, so that it would be beautiful, understandable, and convenient. I used to do this in Excel, it suited everyone, but I want something more interesting. Maybe a separate website with charts, personal accounts and more. What resources to read, where are examples, what frameworks are there in this area (if any)?

A little confuses the goal of "it is interesting to implement the system." The system must meet the requirements of the customer's company. Do they already have an idea of what their KPI system should look like in real life? The ideal option is when KPI is already working in the company, but everything is done on paper / in excel and you just need to automate this process. From a technical standpoint, a web application seems ideal. It is easier to distribute and can be integrated into the corporate portal, if it exists. Of course, with a personal account and access control. everyone should see and edit only their part of the KPI. Also, if there is an Active Directory in the company, you need to think about integrated authentication so as not to produce logins / passwords for users and reduce the likelihood of using other people's logins. You can look at the finished implementation, for example,https://www.simplekpi.com/
