The 13th Mint is based on Ubuntu 12.04 LTS and, accordingly, on the kernel 3.2 or higher, I think that there will be no compatibility problems due to the fault of the kernel and the OS, if only due to insufficient experience in setting up this software (sorry, but your question is clearly from a neophyte)
