Which version of Slim Framework is more adequate?

Once upon a time I worked a little with the second version, it was quite convenient. Now I decided to use it and saw that there is version 3, which is very different in places. I would like to know from those who use it constantly. Which version do you think is better and why?

The latest stable version is the most adequate.
But I still recommend that you look at more popular frameworks: developing on Slim is like inventing bicycles: you make your framework based on it. This is unproductive.
