Which version of Mac OS to choose for development under ios 7?

I want to start developing under ios 7. For now, I will use a virtual system. What is the minimum version of Mac OS I need to download for development? (since the virtual machine will have brakes, so I want something that is not too demanding)

Obviously, you will need XCode 5+, which, without dancing with tambourines, starts on OS X starting from version 10.8.4, i.e. Mountain Lion should suit you.
