Which version of CMS Made Simple should I choose?

There are two versions in CMS Made Simple, regular and multilingual version. Multilingual is no longer officially supported, by the way compatible with PHP 5.3.
Question. Make a multilingual site using the regular version or still with MLE.
The advantages of the MLE version are full localization, and only partially from the regular version
