Which Unix book to read to improve theory?

In general, I want to take an exam in this discipline soon, I want to prepare well, everything is fine with practice, but I want to improve the theory, what book would you recommend to describe how this OS works, all its parts and its device.

Lucas Michael - FreeBSD. Detailed guide
