It seems that both that and that text editor have the maximum of pluses and the minimum of minuses, but I don’t understand (and, perhaps, I don’t know), who has more cons and who has them tougher. Tell me please.

Any, if only not python idle. Just taste. What you need from ide is essentially syntax highlighting and hints as you type.
Try the first, second, at least for a week. Whatever you like more, then use it. Especially for study.
