Which stack to choose for an Opencart store?

You need to make an online store for about 100 products (the number of products will increase to 1000). Opencart was chosen as CMS, but did not work with it.
I myself can only make up, but I was developed on Modx Revo.
Actually, you need to implement:
1. A local image of the site so that you can test and saw new features / change the layout (the database will always be taken from the seller, a local copy is not needed).
2. Seamless (or almost) layout of this local image for prod.
3. Monitoring the state of the sale.
