Which SSD to choose for the server: Samsung 850 Pro or OCZ Intrepid 3600?
Which disk is "better" for a mail server (it will be raid1, i.e. I take two disks) from two options:
1. Samsung 850 Pro 1 Tb MZ-7KE1T0BW
www.samsung.com/us/computer/memory-storage /MZ
- 7KE1T0BW
2. OCZ Intrepid 3600 800 GB (although according to the specification it is also 1 TB
)
Samsung, but the OCZ of this model for servers is declared (protection against power failures), which seems to be much better? At current prices for discs, these two seem to me the only normal options at a price of up to 35,000 rubles per disc.

OSZ made a shitty reputation for being the first cheap lines, even though they were replaced under warranty
, but the controller in this SSD will be better than Samsung's,
you can trust the controller in terms of accuracy and reliability of recording,
but in terms of memory reliability - see for yourself
There was an English article in which SSD tormentors of different models (about 10) put them in a high-performance server. And they beautifully presented on the graphs how many sectors failed, the drop in performance over time (and there it is in months or years). I'll find the link. I remembered from it that the Samsung 850 pro is cool, the 840 is not good for the server, the Crucial m550 is good.
