Which service to use for ios and android chat app?

Good afternoon! Could you tell me a service for organizing chats in ios and android applications. You need the actual backend and api to work with it. I looked at c2call and almost everything is fine, but in order to test the code, as I understand it, you need to buy a pro account. Can you advise another thread where there are restrictions simply on the number of users, for example?
