Which server to choose for video generation with ffmpeg?

There is a set of scripts for generating video using ffmpeg - from a set of images, from video pieces, and so on. Moreover, if it is important, several different scripts can be launched simultaneously (i.e. several copies of ffmpeg will work simultaneously). The question is which server to choose for this. Actually, there are two options:
1) Intel® Core™ i7-8700 Hexa-Core Coffee Lake
2) AMD Ryzen 7 3700X Octa-Core

Which one do you recommend?

Intel's core is faster, but there are fewer of them

If you do not plan to use Intel hardware encoding, then take AMD
Judging by the Passmark site, the difference is in favor of Ryzen, and a big one
