Which relational database to choose to study?

I worked only with mongoDb, I wanted to learn something new. Decided to take up relational databases. Where to start studying? What are the most popular and in demand when working with node? And what is the best way to teach using the orm or in a clean way?

Maria/ a.k.a. MySQL?
PS: some kind of taste turned out ... A couple of arguments:
* Free for any use
* Fast enough with a smooth growth curve of delays from volume (load predictability)
* Syntax is practically not "stained" with specific commands / constructs, almost pure SQL
* open source ( sobsno from where Masha's legs grow :) )
* VERY common / almost any hoster has a sparkle.
PPS: I remembered a minus - you won't be able to hang a beautiful (and expensive) certificate from MS/Oracle on the wall.
