Which Raspberry Pi to get for simple video playback?

My task is to turn on the screen when current is applied and start playing the same video in a circle. I thought that the microcontroller is what I need. From microcontrollers, I have heard a lot about Raspberry Pi, so I decided to opt for it, but now I don’t know what exactly I need to take - there are too many options in online stores. Please tell me about the initial set-up.

There were only two versions with 256 or 512 RAM, the first one is already quite difficult to get. Options are usually the presence of a case, power supply, cables.
