Which programming market is NOT "overheated"?
Recently, a question appeared on the toaster regarding the fact that it is now difficult to find a job as a web developer, that the web development market is “overheated”. In this regard, I want to ask, in which area of programming, in which market, is it now easier to find a job than in the web development market? The first thing that comes to mind is mobile development and desktop application development, but these areas, after all, are moving towards development using web technologies (PhoneGap, Electron). Maybe game development and artificial intelligence or something like that?

In general, the market for senior level specialists freezes.
Jobs hang for months and years.
The mid-level market is not overheated. Full of vacancies.
Here at the junior level - there are a lot of white people, and there are few vacancies, because no one needs people who come to work to study and build a career, not work.
Therefore, choose any field that you like, so that you personally have an interest and a desire to reach an acceptable qualification.
System programmer market. A special dubak in the field of developing compilers, virtual machines, garbage collectors, etc.
Choose GO or Python.
If there is a mathematical tower - welcome to Data Science / Analytics.
They took people with absolutely no experience.
Market for non-optimizability (code and architecture).
Or, more simply, the sanity of logical deductions.
