The profession itself does nothing. You either want to develop some quality or you don't. Analysis skills can be mastered and developed even as a janitor or electrician
QA should be meticulous and systematic. He must have a plan and he must stick to that plan. All. He does not need to know how and why the software is implemented. He needs to know what to stuff into it and what should happen.
The only thing that comes to mind from analytics is to compile some kind of metrics. Where it slows down the most, statistics on bugs and so on.
Web Developer if you mean a programmer / coder, then why should they do analytics there, I’ll never know. Got the task and write the code. The main thing is to be tech savvy. Why they write this program is already a matter for those who, in the applied topic, are either purposefully engaged in analytics, or simply in the subject.
If in the general case, without the Web prefix, leave only Developer as a developer, then yes. It is necessary to analyze the requirements of the customer, be able to understand the application area, put everything on the shelves, break it into modules, define interfaces, and systematize everything. This often takes up most of the time in software development.
