Which processor is better in terms of price / quality?

I was wondering which of these two processors would be better in terms of price / quality ratio, if we talk about 2D graphics?
And here are our candidates:
1. AMD Ryzen 5 1600
2. Intel Core i5-8400
Both cost about the same and both have 6 cores. The question arose because of 12 threads and 16 MB of L3 cache for Ryzen, versus 6 threads and 9 MB for Intel. Is it worth overpaying 500 rubles for this difference and taking Intel,
or is it still not worth it?
