Which one is better to take for programming and building programs for macbook pro 13 i5 or i7?
How noticeable will be the difference?

I don't know exactly what i5 and i7 stand for in macbooks, but if they are both with 2 cores + 2 threads, then it will not be noticeable.

i7 is 4 physical cores. It will compile almost twice as fast. I checked by disabling the kernels on my MB pro

I don’t see any lack of performance with i5 in any of my tasks (although there is no compilation of programs among them)
