Which of the two configurations to choose for office tasks?
First option:
- Intel Core I3-6100
- Motherboard GIGABYTE GA-H110M-S2
- Kingston ValueRAM [KVR21N15S8/4] 4GB*1 DDR-4
Second option:
- Intel Core I5-4460
- Mat. any board with LGA-1150 socket
- RAM according to DDR-3
Assembly for work in "office" mode: MS Office, about 10 tabs in the browser, several instant messengers. In my opinion, it is more promising to take the I3-6100 due to the new architecture, higher core clock speed and DDR-4 support, but smart thoughts are still required on this matter.

For an office, i3 is enough above the roof, you can even take a percentage even cheaper. But with a reserve for the future (and simple programs constantly increase appetites) - that's it. But the operatives need 8, it's in any way. An SSD is also out of a cannon, a regular HDD (even a laptop one) is also enough. The main thing is the RAM, so it will be very necessary for modern voracious office programs (ms office, browsers, instant messengers).
Take a motherboard so that in a couple of years you can plug in another 8GB, and in a couple of years - more, and so on, up to 32-64GB - then you can safely sit on one machine for 10 years.
i5 is i5)) In my opinion, the second config will be better. 4 cores and 4 threads are still different things. So far there are no problems with DDR3, it is not difficult to get it. If you are thinking about upgrading in the future, then you can take the first one.
For these purposes, and then and then above the roof. If we consider it from the point of view of "more promising" - then the option with i3, but also with i5 - will be relevant for a long time, and solve these problems. So for me - purely to what the soul lies (you can throw a coin)))
