2. Onvif can do almost anything, except for the cheapest ones. RTSP on NVR'ah did not try, because there is no need.
3. With FTP, you are unlikely to succeed, I have not seen such people. And why? There is also a CMS.
Now there are two major NVR manufacturers - Dahua and Hikvision. Everything else - all sorts of BestDVR, RVi, LTV, Bolid, KENO, etc. - the same product, but with a different nameplate.
In other words, there is not much choice. Aliexpress is best avoided.
