Which motherboard to choose (small, with built-in CPU, and RAID support) for home NAS?
Are there any motherboards like Rapsberry Pi 4 with Raid support?
I would like to transfer the home samba server to a separate hardware. I do not want to buy a ready-made solution (Synology) due to the lack of flexibility, Linux is better.
What motherboard with integrated CPU do you recommend?
It is very important that there be a RAID array, and several SATA ports. And also gigabit LAN. applications are installed and launched directly from the network storage. Or is it still better to abandon this idea with a micro motherboard and continue to use Micro-itx with i3?

Synology - the same Linux. Easily put entware / optware and work in the console. BUT you need to keep in mind that both Synology and any other mother are software RAID, which is calculated on the processor. Cheap synologies are very slow, their micro counterparts will be even slower.
It's better to take something more poppy and have more flexibility. I advise you to make the raid software, if you are not going to use> 8 disks. If you want "all in one box", look for HPE Microserver Gen8.
The motherboard itself was on https://www.chipdip.ru/ the MACCHIATObin Single Shot variant there is only sfp and sfp + (it cost 35-45 thousand rubles), but now there is only Double Shot for 65,590. But it does not have a raid (unless soft). It can be purchased separately:
If the budget allows, then Khadas vim3 sbc, there is m.2 wifi and ethernet, a good percentage, but the high price is about 10 tr (in the full version). Or

There is a lot of sata, the usual processor architecture is all included!!! Rewind below, there are analogues at a price, with a built-in processor !!!
Supermicro MiniITX. For an adult with IPMI, 2 network cards and of course the built-in RAID controller.

See filter Mini-Itx and lga1151
Buy something from the above, install FreeBSD for example, set up a soft raid-z \ raid-z2 and all sorts of services in containers via cbsd.
Google it. Entertaining business.
I made a so-so raid6 from shit and sticks with 10 hard drives. There was a situation that 2 hard drives fell off at once. But we watched the movie without any problems.
