Which monitor is best for working with text?

Since I spend 12-15 hours a day at the computer, I have problems with my eyesight.

Advise a good monitor, basically, I sit in text editors and in the console.
Diagonal from 24-27. But I still think at 27.

As a working OS, I use Ubuntu, Fedora at home. I would like the monitor to work correctly with these operating systems.
