Color MFP, in the office, is evil. The lion's share of printing will be in b/w, while all "color" cartridges will "physically" die.
A more reasonable solution would be to buy a B / W MFP (on the network) and a separate color printer connected to one machine.
In terms of cartridge recovery, there is no alternative to HP. All others (manufacturers) will imply the purchase of the original (whole or individual blocks) and the cost of printing will be higher.
