Which manufacturer's SSD should I choose?
I myself am a happy owner of OCZ Vertex 3 60 GB, which is in a laptop and has been plowed without complaints for almost 3 years.
And now it's time to buy an ssd for a stationary. The volume is supposed to be 120-256 GB, i.e. the budget has not yet been precisely determined. But despite this, I want to know the industry leaders, if any. And if not, let the leader be those whose ssd is faster, the architecture is more perfect, higher reliability and more new technologies.
In a different situation, I would take OCZ without thinking, because. firstly, their own experience of use, well, they were basically the engine of progress at the start of the appearance of ssd drives, but the case of their bankruptcy and the transition to Toshiba is alarming.
In general, I ask for advice, smart articles on this topic.

Well, OCZ, I would not say that they were the engines of progress. Pulled all intel.
On my own behalf, I can recommend intel or plextor. plextor is (did) based on intel.
It turned out to be the golden mean. All the screws work, we don’t have many of them (we use them in servers and storage systems) With intel at an early stage there were problems with the loss of information and there were problems about OCZ in linux and os x systems.
See plextor m5 pro or m6 models.
PS we use m5, m6 has not been purchased yet.
Intel is more expensive or Kingstone.
I have 3 ssd from intel. 2 for 256GB for cache, 1n for 128GB for the system.
I don't know how reliable, so I took 2 (1+1 "mirror").
If you do the same for the server, for the usual PC, 1 is enough for the system, etc. But storing photos, videos, and other "important" files is best on the good old hdd.
Take Intel (there are no problems with them for a long time) or Kingstone.
For more than 2 years now I have been the proud owner of a half-terabyte version of Samsung's 840Pro SSD. So far the flight is great. I use it as the main screw for 2 systems - ubuntu for work every day + Windows 8 to play occasionally. I store large data on a terabyte old HDD.
Intel SSDSC2BW120A401
3 year warranty. Somewhere write that and 5 years. The only downside is the price is a bit high compared to the competition.
Often advised like this: Crucial MX100 if 256-512Gb, Crucial M550/Plextor M6S if 128Gb
