Which major in programming should you choose?

Good afternoon!
I have been fond of coding for a long time, but I just can’t decide on the specialization of my activity. Therefore, a question has arisen with which I appeal to the audience of Habr.
What to spend your free time studying.
Programming for mobile platforms? Or web development?

You don't have to approach it this way. Coding is for coders. Unthinking lower levels of development.
Better to do development. Architecture, algorithms, etc. Being professionally engaged in the web (not shit PHP code + Mysql on Denver, but professionally) not from the point of view of syntax knowledge, but from the point of view of developing interfaces and architecture, it will be easy for you to switch to almost any development direction.

the web is simpler, clearer in the sense that there are many books and articles. but they won’t give much money, because everyone around is dumping.
moby is a new, still chaotic trend, albeit a fashionable one. the money is big, but you need to be able to take it, because the client wants a job urgently, and not in six months.

Money, a lot and crazy - in the development and implementation (especially the implementation!) of self-made 1s-configurations.
Universal, does not require brains.

I would advise doing not what is more promising, but what the soul lies in. If you like what you do, then you will do it more and more every day. And if you do something and understand that it is not yours, then it is unlikely that you will be able to become a good specialist.

Weird question. Choose everything. He is a programmer and a programmer in Africa, and new technologies are mastered quickly. Start with what you like the most and develop.

I first chose the web, now I have gone to mobility. But there are also reverse cases. Here's what the soul lies / where they will offer more.
